Presented by the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance in association with Theatre Week, “Electra” will be performed in The Cube Theatre, (beside the Bailey Allen Hall), NUI Galway at 8pm on the 9th, 10th and 11th March, with two additional shows at 10am on the 10th and 11th March. Tickets are €10 for the public and €5 for NUI Galway students. Special group student and teacher rates for secondary schools are available. Tickets are available at the Socs Box on campus in person or by calling 091-492852.
There will be a special talkback with playwright and adapter Frank McGuinness after the Monday 10 March 10AM performance also including dramaturge Dr. Natasha Remoundou and director Charlotte McIvor.
“Electra” is also being presented as part of the School of Humanities’ spring 2014 Civic Engagement programme.
